For best results, it is recommended to hand wash the Perforated Half Sheet with warm, soapy water before the initial use and after subsequent uses. Dishwasher use is not advised, as the cleaning agents in automatic dishwasher detergent may cause discoloration, which is merely cosmetic and will not affect the pan's baking performance or safety.

The natural aluminum construction of the Perforated Half Sheet works well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and traditional butter or shortening and flour methods.
